Overview
This course is designed to provides delegates with a basic knowledge of helicopter refueling and quality control procedures, and provides a greater understanding of the roles and responsibilities of those involved in refueling. The course includes theoretical input and practical sessions with a written examination.
Objectives:
At the end of the training candidates will be able to:
- Understand the full explanation of Helifuel systems
- Maintain documentation and record keeping
- Identify Legislation and Government requirements
- Identify Quality control
- Participate in the various practical exercise
Target Audience
Personnel already in the position of helideck assistant or those about to be appointed into this role.
Certification
On completion of this course successful candidates will receive a IADC Certification for Helicopter Refuelling Training.
Revalidation
There is no revalidation period for this type of training, however refresher training is recommended every 2 years.
