Overview
This training is developed to provide delegates a clear understanding on the safety regulations of scaffolds, interpret design specifications of scaffolds and statutory regulations during the inspection of complex/design scaffolding structures for any faults or incompatible components. The delegates will demonstrate the actual inspection procedure and document findings in accordance with the required reporting procedure. The course will be a combine theory and focus more on the practical inspection wherein delegates will be assessed based on the performance during the training period.
Objectives
At the end of the training, delegates will be able to:
- Interpret Scaffold design drawings for inspection purposes.
- Understand regulation with regards to scaffold inspection.
- Identify faults or non-compliance features of scaffold
- Supervise erecting and dismantling operation of scaffold.
Target Audience
This course is designed for managers, supervisors or employees who are assigned and responsible for inspecting scaffold.
Certification
On completion of this course successful candidates will receive a certification Scaffold Inspection Training.
Revalidation
Revalidation period for this type of training is 5 years.
