Overview

The New Hire Training program is an entry level course design to introduce newly hired employees to the new working environment. This program prepares new employees to be familiar to the company policies, safety rules, working procedures and drilling operations. It is a hands on training on which trainees will be trained in the safe use of tools and equipment. Trainees will be assessed based on the performance theoretically and practically on a day to day assessment process.

The program trains new hire in the basic aspect of the oil and gas industry on which it will cover the following modules:

  • Hazcom
  • Hazard Recognition
  • Permit to Work System
  • Job Safety Analysis
  • Painting and Corrosion
  • Hand and Finger Safety
  • Fire Safety
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Fall Protection
  • Gas Detection
  • Lockout/Tagout
  • Rigging and Slinging

Target Audience

The course is designed for the new hire employees or new to the oil and gas industry.

Certification

After completing the course and assessed as competent, candidates will receive a Certification on New Hire Training program which indicates that an employee is ready to move to the next level of Pre-Employment Process.

Revalidation

There is no revalidation period for this type of training.
